Post Payments

What are you guy's payments if you're leasing or making payments?

Just wondering...

I'm paying 362 per month on a purchase. 5 year payment plan. I traded in a '97 Cobra and put 10k down. Got the thing for 32k with extended warranty and all taxes, title, tags, etc.

Finance 30K. It's costing me $20 a day (plus insurance) whether I drive it or not.

Financed about 30K and payments just under 600/5 years. Even if I had the cash I would've financed it, there's a much better return on your money than 7 or 8% in the market.

My dealer quoted $710/month for a lease with $2,500 down on Plan pricing! So I bought it. Justified it to my wife after looking at how well the value of first generation Lightnings have held up.

Geez!

Looking at some of these numbers makes me glad I paid cash (even more glad that I was ABLE to pay cash!).

I financed 27k at a 5.99% rate, my payment
is 522.00 a month with my company paying about 400.00. I actually could get them to pay the whole payment if I wanted to put
about 6000 miles a month while traveling on business. I might do this if I find out for sure that the 2001.5 Lighting is going to
be improved with a new engine then I would just trade this high mileage clunker in for the new & improved Lightning.

Paid 24887 for red lightning with 6cd changer and tow package. Sold my 98 cobra outright. Put down 5000 and payment for 6 years came to 350 not bad for a lightning.
