118K miles on my 99L..put 4lb pulley on at 75K miles, JDM chip was on at 50Kmiles... other mods are air raid filter and boost bypass..Seen 5 passes at one trip to the track with best ET of 13.5 at 105mph (Very extreme 98 degree heat). Still running decent for a daily driven L every since I bought it in 2000 with 14K miles

If you run mild enough boost, stay out of detonation, I feel longevity would be fine.

Thanks for all of the replies. Good point jeff2001silver, the Lightnings do have lower compression than a stock F-150. I think the stock 5.4 3V is 9.8:1. What are stock Lightnings, 8.5:1? The thing I like about the Roush kit is the 3yr/36,000 mile powertrain warranty they give. I guess as long as I run a good premium gasoline like Roush states, I will get some decent longevity out of the engine?

155,310 miles on my '99 with no major problems.

The extra torque, not the extra horsepower a supercharger provides, is what stresses the drivetrain, particularly the transmission. If (when) it fails, you should consider beefing it up.
