Who does good tuning?

Alright, I would have searched, but I wasnt exactley what to search for and I figured it would have just brought up a bunch of crap that has nothing to do with what I want.

Anyway-I have a 1999 F150 with the 4.6 liter and auto tranny, and am looking for a custome tune. I was originally going to go with one from Troyers but they cant friggin answer any of my 10 emails over a 6 month span so I figure screw it, Ill do my bussiness somewhere else.
So, what are some good tuner guys that I could look into, and what kind of tuning do they use (superchips, diablo, etc)

Im looking for something that has multiple tunes, like 3 or so that I can switch (one for 87 octane, one for 93, etc)

So any suggestions?

Thank you VERY much.

You might have better luck by just calling troyerperformance. I have an xcal from them for my 03 L and love their custom tuning. Other than troyer, any of the big 3, psp, jdm, or jlp do a great job tuning. You can also throw in rwtd, rem,and probly a few more.

Agreed, any of the Vendor / Tuners can hook you up
First you need to decide WHAT you want though, then you can pick a tuner.
Some are SCT only, some Diablo only, some both. All will have a choice of Multi Chip and or Hand Held.
(personally I like Chips so it's just a matter of turning a switch to change tunes)

I WOULD like to call Troyers, but I dont have access to a phone during thier bussiness hours. What I would like is the 6600, 4 program chip ( I also would like a chip so I can just turn a **** for a different tune)

I really dont have a brand preference, as long as it is a good quality product. (but I think it would be cool to have a Diable so I can have an "engineered to raise hell" sticker on my back window )

Anyway, thanks for your guy's help, Ill check those out.

Sal, that's it. Everyone will argue their vendor, but I have had great experiences with PSP, both Sal and Lisa are great people that have always gone the extra mile to help me out.

Why would you? If they won't answer e-mails, screw them.

Other vendors here actually want your business.

Well, there may be a mixup, he says he has not recieved ANY of my emails. I do find it hard to believe since I have NEVER had a problem with my emails not going through, except the ones Ive sent Troyers I guess. But from talking to him on the forums I do respect him, and sure the heck wouldnt think he would be making something like that up.

He told me to call and leave a voicemail but Im 99.9 percent sure they would never get ahold of me, and if my emails wont go thru to them, that might just force me to use another vender.

But what do I know.

THanks guys.

Go with the one that's the best for you. Even with the big 3, I only found one that would return my emails (JLP), that's the one i went through and I haven't had a single problem. Email all of them and see who bites. We pay them good money to be provide a service or a product and if they want to keep their customers, they will provide good customer service.

Well, I looked and to me it didnt seem like JLP had anything to offer for the N/A F150, or am I not looking enough? Same with Sal's Diablo line up?

The Xcal from Sal's and Xcal 2 from JDM both caught my eye. 30 dollars difference between the two, I would probably go with the Xcal 2, but who knows.

Do these guys offer any "special pricing" for F150Online members?

Thanks for the help guys
