New Found Happiness

Wow, all I can say is fooking a WOW....I got my L out of the shop today, with the Dynatech tip to tip, and it has to be the loudest sounding system I have ever heard. With the addition to the 6Lb lower pulley, wow.....

I had 4 races tonight... I raced a SVT Mustang 04 (modded) crushed the little pony both outta the hole and on the role.

I raced a ws6 only thing I could tell was headers and such he had. He got crushed. I was feeling UNSTOPPABLE, this was all going to change in a matter of minutes.

I pulled up next to a 04' Z-06..I reved, he reved, we nodded, well I got him outta the hole and up to about 40, then I got crushed. I was having that god damn porsche flashback. I was devistated.

I found another corvette, (Non Z-06) and got my im the **** attitude again, cause I whopped him like a red headed stepchild.

My next stop is going to be KB or possibly roushe sc. New Shortblock and a few more mods and I will be good to go!

I am just tickled to death about the sound of dynatech tip to tip system. Even my exhaust guy, heard the entire system and was totally amazed it sounded soo good.

I just wanted to share my happiness with everyone.

I am looking forward to the actual dream cruise and I will have a lot more pics, I tried taking some pics tonight, but they didnt turn out very well.

p.s. If any of you are going to be down that way, give me a buzz, I would actually love to meet some of ya. I am not sure where I will be parked, but I will be out there tomorrow, somewhere between 12 - 16 mile!

-Bill

Don't wanna burst your bubble, but a "modded" 04 Cobra would destroy your truck, from any start. It was probably an earlier year Cobra, non-supercharged.

Like the rest of the story though .

A slow 04 Cobra in hot weather will run 108-109 MPH, while most of our trucks in the same weather are well below that with typical mods and even a ported eaton.

And how many points was that drag racing ticket you got?

Buzzy pulled up next to me and gunned it, then we took off, I let off about 90mph, and watched the cop drive past me and get right on his tail!

Needless to say I (WIKDSVT) pulled a quick U-turn with Wydopnthrtl and headed the other way. Buzzy got out of that one.

I never saw so many Gen 2 lightnings in one day. Most of them were too far ahead to catch up, or going the other way.

For those that are lost, WE'RE TALKING ABOUT THE WOODWARD DREAMCRUISE

I met up with another black gen 2 and were racing back and forth then we hit Pontiac. Pontiac was pretty much lawless after the cruise. I like it when a Cop looks at me and says
"Well show me what that truck can do, I'm not getting any younger" So we pull side by side as he stopped traffic (4 lanes on woodward) and did side by side burnouts
I obliged the cop with a burnout that would put John Force to shame. All I remember is my speedo was burried, I was shifting through the gears at about a 45 degree angle for about a good 300 feet or more. The guy in the other lightning couldn't believe what he saw.

It was fricking incredible. People all over the place cheering on burnouts, drag racing. IT was unbelievable.

From Square lake road to M-59 on woodward was CHAOS, little traffic and police who didn't care.

I raced a sn95 cobra with a blower. license plate UR2SLOW. So I had to embarrassing him with the old farm truck.

If you get a chance it is WELL worth the drive. A Ton of old muscle cars, Porsche Carrerra GT (V-10 supercars), Saleen S7, Mclearon F1's, Lotus's
Some of you in the sunny states may see these exotics all the time, but us in the wintery midwest, they are a rare treat.
