Post Waiting for Mr. Good Chip

I spoke with Mike at length yesterday and decided to go ahead and order a Superchip. Has anyone posted any pictures of the installation procedures? The 10 mm. bolt in the engine compartment wasn't as obvious as I imagined. I hope this is as straight forward as it sounds.

Zonaman

If you take out the battery and battery box the job is much easier to finish. Their isnt much room to plug the terminal back into the computer. I know because the first time i tried it i bent some pins. Hpe this helps.

zonaman, dont take the battery out.get a 1/4 inch drive ratchet and 10 mm socket, reach in and lossen the bolt and simply pull the connector out.pull the computer out, take the top off, clean the terminals, put the top back on. put the chip in and take some silver tape and tape the chip in so it want come out.you may have to bend the tabs down on part of the rear bracket to keep it from hitting the chip.stick the computer back in ,push the connector back in and snug it back on .dont tighten too much.i would also unhook the battery first thing.believe me and some others, its really quite simple.
