autox classing...

well, this years been busy for me so I havn't raced so far, but I am going to be auto-crossing in two weeks and I just thought its interesting to show what I'm classed against with the mods on my truck. With this as competition, I'm pretty pleased when I come in 3rd or 4th. lol.

Audi 2004 S4
Acrus NSX
BMW M3 (E46), M5, M Coupe, M Roadster
Chevrolet Corvette C5, Corvette GS, SLP Camaro, ZR-1
DeTomaso Pantera
Factory Five Cobra 5.0
Ford Mustang Cobra/SVT/Mach1, Saleen/Roush SC
Jaguar XKRSC, S-Type R
Lotus Esprit 4 Cylinber Turbo
Mazda RX-7 TT
Mercedes C32 AMG, SLK AMG, 05 SLK, CLK AMG, E55
Mitsubishi Lancer Evo
Pontiac SLP Firehawk
Porsche 911 Turbo, 968 Turbo S, Boxter S, 993, 996
Subaru STi
Toyota SupraTT
Nissan 350Z, 350Z Track, 350zx TT
Infiniti G35

Makes for some tough competition when the other owners actually know how to drive.

What Class are you running?

Dan,
What class is the Lightning placed in? I was told by SCCA that it should be in ESP, but the cars listed don't seem to fit there. What is your take on this?

Sal : haha, that would rule...though I don't have much experience with manual transmissions. :-/

Leeann : Thx.

Gator : Yeah, its the Giants Stadium race... www.nasanortheast.org

Rick : This is the NASA racing group who uses their own loosely-SCCA based classing. I'm in "Grouppe C" in NASA, the truck starts in Class D, but I get bumped one because of all my mods. Regular SCCA I was previously ESP...not sure now with all the changes to the truck if I'm still that.
