Thumbs up Update on my trucks Oil pressure problems

As Rob02 would say Woooooo Hooooooo

It turned out to be the oil pressure sending unit, not the oil pump. However since I shut the hood of my bronco onto my cell phone I can only talk to Jim via e-mail.

While it is down at JDM I am having the P.O.S PRO-M Mass Air Meter Removed, and installing a SCT Mass Air Meter.

Well it is great news that I didn't have a bad oil pump, so the motor looks like it is fine.

thats great news better a sensor that only cost a few dollars then a high price engine tear down to replace an oil pump or worse damaged parts

Talking

Thanks guys

Here is my new setup

Everything is the same except I am now running a SCT mass air meter, but with my stock rubber intake tube. I wanted it to have a more stock, or stealth look, as opposed to the JDM power pipe.

Now I can take the sct sticker off the mass air meter, and nobody will know it isn't a stock mass air meter if they look at my motor.

With the 3.2 upper pulley it made arouns 610 rwhp, so if you compare it to my 635 HP I made with my 2.7 upper it sounds like it is running strong again.

Now Leeanne if you want to drive my truck here is your chance. Pick it up at JDM and drive it up to FFW in New Hampshire this weekend.

Nice Don, glad your truck is running good again. I wish they would have worked on my truck which has been at the shop for almost 2 months but I'm glad someone gets to race. Good luck at the FFW event if you attend.

well I am sure they will get to it soon. All they did to mine was throw a new oil sender on it, and a sct mass air. So mine was prob just a few hour job.

I have no idea what your getting done to yours????

I'm getting a built longblock put in. Can't wait to get it back! I'm getting jumpy. I'm sure they are getting to it as fast as possible, actually I would rather have them take their time and get it perfect. I'm also getting some new tire, and rear QA1's.
I think the wait is worse b/c I'm basically sitting in a hospitol waiting for it to be finished.

Good idea there Don on making it look stealth. Now all you have to do is figure out how to hide the cage.......
