Break-in miles>??? Ha! My truck went straight from JDM to the track last year with about 12 miles on the new motor. -Mat-

Mat, I was advised against that. I believe my truck will be running early next week, but then it has to sit at the shop and wait for Jim's return after the 20th, I think the guys in the shop are going to put some miles on it while street testing before Jim gets to dyno tune it.
I'm sure your motor will hold up fine, I can't afford anything to go wrong with this new setup so I am going exactly by what they tell me. Any Issues like what rob02 is having would basically screw me, but I'm sure it won't leave the shop until everything is 100%. Hopefully the truck will be running good and my health will permit me to attend JDM Day, I'd love to go.

What do you mean ? It's not normal to burn plugs after 1-2 hours of drive time on them ???

I hear you Bro : o (
If I could turn back the hands of time, I would have sold it with the Stock Block and bought a Built L. At least I got to run 1 FFW and 1 NMRA this season.

Re JDM Day, there isnt a better day of racing all season long,
No BS like FFW where you cant start you frigging car to after 5PM, yet if you have scratches on your slicks you can run open headers at 10AM
YA THAT MAKES A LOT OF SENCE.....

Jim Jim and Crew put on the most amazing day of racing all year long, you are ALL treated like equals (even that annoying JLO Gang is ok on that day)
Ok they talk alot of schitt, and LA never shows up, but for the most they keep in check and just try and keep up with the LOONY's

If I'm running on 8 cylinders COUNT ME IN, amof if I'm running on 6 or 7 I'm there
And no matter who what or where, I AM SPRAYING THE EVER LIVING SCHITT OUT OF IT THIS TIME. Either it leaves ET on a trailer, or I drive it home after a new best ET, there is no gray area this time.

Hey Fking Hostile, bring your best game, but remember you cant leave until you see the green.....
Oh Ya, and bring some extra plugs incase I use all mine up, hehehehehe....

I hope to see you all at JDM Day. I'm looking to smash last year's 9.52 @ 151 mph pass with my New 101mm Turbo.

As you know its kinda an informal gathering and will not be highly publicized until like a week before. I have attended two and they were awesome.

I think due to Team JDMs busy schedule with FFW, they may not want to commit incase of some sort of conflict. I know that 1 day before an event is probably prep time for some of their customers trucks.

Lately their gathering is the Friday before Fords at Englishtown, so your date of OCT 14th should be accurate.

I look forward to participating again this year, this will be nine straight Fords at Etown for me.
see you there.

memories from 2001
