Hay Davids,
You are going to have to wait alot longer than 6 months for your 2000. They are not even making them untill Oct. 2000. At lease that is what I heard.

thankyou...
20yo.. i have been told that they will begin production in december 99 and shipped in february or march 2000. it really wouldnt make sense to ship out a 2000my in october 2000...the same time the 20001 lariat/xlts arrive.

mtp jerry,
thanks for the offer, but i have to drive the fastest lightning available. therefore it must be red. the dealer here had black and white when i went to tell him i would settle for nothing but red. just something about that color.
thanks again,
david

Good choice David. A wise man once said:"I want a red one." Need I say more?

One of the SVT dealers in the Denver area has 5 SVT Lightnings on the lot at MSRP + $5,000. All are ready to drive off...too much markup!!?? I bought mine at window sticker...no gouge!

May the ($268 each) tires rot off those trucks before they sell a single one for $5K over list!

Wink

No problem David, good luck, hope Ya
find a red one at a reasonable price!
Wow, MSRP+$5k! I think My price of
MSRP-$1000 is a fair deal for a (slower?)
white one.

4D THNDR, you are also well educated. i was offered a white or a black for 28K. i opted to pay closer to sticker for a red one....if and when it is found. like i said earlier, i want the fast one .
