Pics of Lakewoods installed?
I just got a set of used Lakewood slapper bars, I sent them off to get powdercoated and was wondering if you guys had any pics of them installed, and how well that you can see them when the truck is driving around. The install looks fairly easy, but if you had any hiccups let me know so I know how to deal with them when I am putting them on, thanks.
I got them powdercoated the same color as the 10th anniversary cobra wheels, a gunmetal gray to match my wheels, which were also powdercoated in that color, thanks.

You can barely tell I have the slapper bars on unless you are right beside the truck looking in the wheel well. Most noticeable to me is the bright yello snubber. I like them pretty good but havnt been on the track with em and the the psp drive shaft loop i put on.
The install is pretty staight forward. I just took mine off this past Friday. I have bearly 1/4'' between snubber and leaf springs, too stiff for everyday driving. When I get more shimms I will put back on.

I have heard that 5/8 is good for everyday driving, but i'm going to leave just enought space that I can change the snubber to a shorter one for normal driving, then when I go to the track, just swap the bigger one.
As everyone said straight forward easy install. I only had about 1\4" between snub and springs also, without shims. I got better bolts, grade 8..I think, It's been a while.

For the **** *I put them on w\flames pointing inward on purpose. Didn't care
for the flamed sticker standing out the way it did.
