I have a 99 and will be chipping from Sal and want to add a factory replacement 90 mm lightning mass air. Do the C&L's accept the 90mm, or do I need to specify that to them when ordering?

Also, if you have one... what's your opinion of it in general?

yes the C&L will work with both an 80mm and 90mm mass air... i used one when i upgraded from my 80mm to a 90mm.

I went with the C&L elbow with the Motoblue CAI system from rpm outlet and the only thing i really like about it is the looks. But other than that Im not completely satisfied. Im thinking about buying a ram air/forced air kit from the vendors or modifying my current set up so that its not a Hot air kit.
