Question Sal

Can you shead some light on the cowling screws and the peformance connection. It was posted about amonth or so ago. There was a shout down at STV during production and my dealer said it was quilty controlthat shut down production line. Do you know any thing about this? Thanks

Hey Dennis, Sal here. The cowl screw cover thing is a joke. Some of the guys were joking that the trucks without screw covers were faster because they were lighter . I really don't know why some trucks didn't get them. As for the line delay, there were 3 different times that production was delayed. The first time delayed Job 1 from lack of bed covers supplied by Bestop. The second halted Lightning production due to lack of fuel tanks from the supplier. The last production delay, and probably the one you are refferring to, was because of the water pump snouts cracking. Keep in mind none of these trucks got delivered, they were fixed before delivery.

sal, i started that faster bs, when someone posted on lightning list that he had none, i went out and looked at mine ( also missing), so when life deals you lemons.........

funny thing is, it turned out to be true
