Cool

I like the black over the red and white,I had my choice of the red and black when I bought mine,my last truck was red and I think the black looks meaner I will be tinting the windows along with having a silver racing stripe(same color as rims)painted down the center of truck, I will also have a chip installed along with an air kit and maybe some exhaust work.I thought about a ram air hood but I don't want to change to much of the factory look,a nitrous kit could happen next spring.

I've been thinkin' (could this be dangerous)
that if red is fastest why did my red one get plowed at that intersection. I think it must be related to the red equals food theory that applies to the police. The guy saw my truck turning and was hungry.
How bout them apples...grin

The reason why BLACK gets dirty quicker than other colors is because it's so fast that it travels interdimensionally and picks up dirt from the 4th dimension where, as everybody knows, it's a lot dustier than it is here.

OK...Now you guys know that if you were really fast that the dirt/dust wouldn't even have a chance!!!With a White Lightnin', your so fast there's just no chance to get dirty.

MRBBQMAN,

Unfortunately, 4D cleaning products don't work in this dimension, so you have to return to the 4th dimension to do the clean up. (I'm constantly having to explain this to my neighbors who are always complaining about my dirty car/truck/bike. But with their snail-like red and white vehicles, they'll never understand. )

PFA,

Now I'll admit that a white (or red) Lightning is a very fast vehicle, but you'll never make it to another dimension for two very good reasons:

1. The 4th dimension is already completely full of black cars/trucks/bikes. There's just no room for any other color; and

2. Even if you could somehow attach a Saturn booster to your white truck to make it as fast as a black one and thus enter the 4th dimension, white/red is, unfortunately, anti-matter there and the resultant experience would not be pleasant.

4D THNDR,

Don't give up hope just yet. There is a rumor that Sal and Superchips are going to combine forces to develop an interdimensional chip which, when added to Ford's new slip-stream drive (btw, how did you find out about that - it's supposed to be top secret - I better check out BON), will restore the 50 hp shortfall that SVT/Team Mustang designed into the system and thus provide enough push to propel a non-black truck into at least the outer edges of the 4th dimension. But, of course, that's all just a rumor at this stage.

(Wow, is this stuff off-topic or what!)

We're still on the topic of Lightning modifications. Yes it was BON before the court ordered removal of classified docs. Oh well, would have been tough to get the dilithium crystals at Texaco anyways. Maybe someday look into the NOS crystals...maybe. In the mean time...ENGAGE
