How do you like the Dynatech's? Did you get just the headers, or the headers and Y-pipe with cat's?

They're a nice header, I bought the header's and cat's and if I recall correctly I paid $1100 for all of it. I do have a flowmaster CB connected to it and I'm not really happy with it, would have preferred a Bassanni (Gotta love that sound!!!)

The "Pickle" Is what all Belanger headers have down at the end of the tubes by the flange. It helps with the veolcity of the air and works almost a suction for the air.

What makes these headers worth so much more than the LFP coated headers?

they look the same to me but the collector is twice the size of LFP. 3' compare to 1 7/8

I might be wrong, but I think the LFP's step to 1 7/8, then go to a 2.5" collector. I believe even our stock manifolds have a 2.5" collector.

I installed Belanger headers on my 421 cid, 370 HP 64 Ponitac in 64. With shaved heads and a 11.25 to 1 comp ratio, stock cam, jetted Carbs,M&H 7" wide slicks ( that was the legal limit for stock class then ),4.55 gears. Turned a best of 12.74 @109.63 at cecil in BS/A..Only experience I had with them but they were the BOMB back then.
