collective magnum power info wanted

hello all, I recently purchased a magnum powers w/ 2.7 upper, I have it on my truck now and am contemplating some more parts for safety, 60 lb SD injectors, MAFia, and a 6 pound lower. I currently have also on the truck kooks long tubes/high flow cats, custom catback(magnaflow xpipe & dynomax 4x12 bullets) e-fan, metco 14" filter, FTVB, and 58" trac bars.

the question I have is, I have seen and done multiple searches on the blower but I haven't seen a complitation of what people have for mods, and what they are putting out on the dyno and the track all put together. I would like all inputs, negative comments are not welcome, just the facts, that will speak for themselves. I think this could be a very informative post if done right.

thanks for your inputs.

I put 460hp and 560tq to the wheels with basically the same setup as you described, sorry no track times. And I did vent the block at that power level.

what were the conditions when you blew your motor, weather what you were doing? and what were the A/F'sand weather, on the dyno when you dynoed it?

Fact: Two of the three local MP users have sold them for lack of hp/tq gains. One was a bolt-on stock engine, and the other a full-tilt built JDM engine.

FYI: Sal dyno tuned each.

I agree, he picked up a good 80HP and 136 TQ,
that's pretty dam fine in my book
I really need to consider Heads, Cams, + Springs, what a diff it makes

SVTANDY,
To answer your question, we did some serious dynoing and data logging after 500 miles on mine. I had Long Tubes, Hi-Flow Cats, and Cat Back, the truck was just running out of fuel up in the 440/580 power level with the stock fuel pumps and 50lb injectors. At the time I had a 1.7 upper and 8lb lower.
We used a Maf Extender and it works fine, I'm on the first setting and we never see more than 4.6 volts. A ton left. BUT I do have this issue of burning the plugs with or without the Mag on, so it appears as some say these 50lb injectors sometimes seem to have a flow issue and not be consistant across the cylinders.

So to answer your question,
YES you need to deal with the Maf, the Mafia will be perfect
YES you need Injectors, AND DEF YES I RECOMMENED THE 60's, hehehe
(Do you have Pumps ? YOU SHOULD)
YES a 6lb lower would be a fine start, may want to try a 8lb though,
these Mag's LOVE Boost
