Getting ready to order a Outerwear cover for the cone filter settup from Sal. But need the part # or the deminsions of the filter. Is it a 9" K&N filter or a different filter altogether? If anyone has ordered the outerbag please let us know how you like it.

Hey Dennis, Sal here. The filter used in my Power Surge kit is similar to a K&N filter, but the end that goes up against the fender also has filter media as well instead of a rubber end cap. I assume you are getting a foam cover to go around the filter cone, so here are the filter area dimensions-- 9 inches long, 5 1/4 inches wide at the small end, and 6 inches at the big end. Let me know how you make out with these covers, maybe I'll sell them as an option for the kit.
