I just purchased a set of Twisted Wedge High Ports from Fox Lake. They are stage 3 CNC Ported for Maximum Power. Gen 1 Guys & Mustang Guys Love Fox Lake Power Products.

I just don't know about Patriot heads the more I read and find out about them. I've heard of people not gettting much gains or losing power. Other vehicle groups actually laugh if you say patriot heads around them.

I just would like to see more real world testing; I went wtih Fox Lake Stg2's.

I'll know in 3-4 weeks. Went with Patriot Stage 3 heads. Of course it won't show if they are better than anyone else - we'll only know if we hit the numbers we expect.

It would be interesting if there was a flow bench in your area if you could get them flow tested to see how close to patriots numbers they come.

Sal is doing the work - I don't know what's available in his area. My project is on a tight timeline, but maybe he can test Andy's

I feel the exact same way. I'm completely up in the air as to which to go with.

I'm also torn on the cams. Almost everyone runs crower, and I hate to do what everyone else is doing so I've been looking at the Fox Lake and Comp cams for the lower lift.

To whomever said they were going stage II patriot, I'd recommend stage III to support more lift.

u can get the stage two heads with the heavier duty springs on there for the same price. just have to make sure and ask for them. i'm sure the patriots are doing a pretty good job since most of the large vendors use them.

The truck with a built motor, 60lb/hr injectors, Kennebell passes the emissions testeing we have hear. I am scared that doing heads and cams will give me headaches in the future when its time to test again.

compare both from their website flow data both are basically the same in flow on both intake and exhaust side but patriot includes a srpoing good for a full .600 lift whereas fox lake is a .580.

Fox Lake
Patriot

I chose patriot as per sals recommendation.

That's funny. Sal is mentioned on Foxlakes Mod motor page as a reference to who uses their heads.

I will be putting my motor in about two weeks. It's a full Fox Lake longblock. Flow #'s are really a hard way to compare heads since you never know what different variables they have in the testing process. The main reason I went with fox lake is because of there extensive experience they have at the track with their motors. I don't know how many engine builders have 5.4's in the 7's.

I noticed that too on Fox Lake's site.

And BTW; you can get Fox Lake heads with different valve springs
