Launching with a convertor, help!

OK guys, going to try my first launch with the new convertor. Its a PI 24-2600 stall. I've got the stock 3.55 gears, JDM Traction bars, 28x14 Hoosiers, and QA-1s in the rear. I'm thinking its going to hook well, so bring it up to stall, then mash it on launch? Or go from lower rpm?

I have a 2600 and have found my best 60's come from bringing it up to only 1000 rpm and mashing it to flash the converter. The higher you start out the less aggressive it will be on the converter.
