This may have been brought up before but...

as we all know L's simply rock as far as tire wear. j/k i need a new set and i have no idea what to get. im leaning away from the f1's, thinking nitto 555's or toyo. what are the size limits i can fit on the stock 18'' wheels. do they have to be 295-45-18? i know they have to be 18, but what kind of side wall and width extremes can i get away with? i havent found a big selection in that exact size.

Ive run some 295/35/18's before. I also have a set of like 285/60/18 that i used in a burnout contest.

305's is really the biggest on the stock rim, but thats only on the rear, i would stick with the 295's up front

You also need to consider diameter (all 4 the same) and load capacity when looking for tires. Your choices in stock size / wheels are Good(fura)year, Hankook, Nitto and Toyo.

which ones are they? the only 305/45/18's i have seen are the nitto DR's. you really wouldn't want those in the front.
