He also told someone else that his kits are on a few L's and one was in Florida with the stock 5.4 intake, which I was doing, funny thing is I don't even have the kit yet. Seems like he maybe telling some fibs to sell more kits.
1+ on waiting on the kit from Pro Turbo, and you don't even order it from them.
You ordered yours from Pro Turbo? He's not even at the jet hot stage, he's not even finished mocking it up to start production. Mine is the first kit so other than the L they're using for mockup there can't be any others, have no idea what he's talking about.

Well, I contacted pro turbo kits and they had me talk with Mark Landcaster(sp). He told me he was the one that fabed up Sals turbo through the supercharger. Or sal used the kit from Mark. I am using the kit they made for the regular f150 5.4. I swapped my intake with a stock 5.4 intake. HE said this would work. From what i understand his brother made a kit for his f150, and the fittment was /and has been tested. He was waiting on Jet coating to come through with everything.

You know me as DrivinMyLightnin on aol. Check out turbomustang.com forums on turbo kit feedback.
The turbo setup on my old truck was from Pro Turbo Kits. I got it through working with Crash and Mark.
The coated hot parts are PTK, and we ordered the 76GTSH as it was the largest turbo that would still share the flange. The standard F-150 hot parts are a bolt in deal. The downtube was supplied by PTK as well, but we had to fab up a new 4" version for the power level we wanted (we did make 750 rwhp with the 3" one though).
Since I had the Procharger on the truck before the turbo, I just used the whole setup from that for the intercooler and ducting. Jut had to make a new duct from the turbo to the I/C.
There are a few things that need to be changed/altered with the turbo setup, but nothing major, and mostly bolt in changes.
I was working with Dalton at PTK to get the Lightning kit to market based on our truck, but the idea kind of stalled out since we were told it was 2-3 months for the hot parts for each kit ordered as they were built to order.
We were planning to offer two kits for the Lightning. A "base" kit which would route the turbo directly to the intake, reusing the factory heat exchanger, and then a "race" kit which would have an air to air intercooler like our truck.
I could easily build a turbo truck if it were in my posession, but doing a "bolt in" kit at this time, isn't going to happen (from us). It's much easier for me to fab up all the ducting and such in person.

Probably just use a F150 intake for simple bolt on of parts, and the fact I'm not a big fan of the adapter plates on a eaton case for how it looks. My goal would be in the 700~800HP range.
