Wheel Locks
I stopped by my SVT dealer last night and picked up a set of Lincoln Navigator wheel locks ordered previously. I didn't get a chance to put them on yet because I received a slightly different part number than I ordered (F8 vs. F6)and I wanted to check with McGard to make sure they were the right thread pattern before opening the package.
The Ford part number is F85Z-1A043-AA. They are currently black (I plan to either paint or plate them), and have the same flange washer as the Lightning lugnuts. They're keyed internally so it looks like there will be no interference with the key and the wheel. McGard verified the correct thread but cautioned that these were not designed for the Lightning so they could not recommend their use. They alos said they still have no plans to develop locks for the Lightning. Cost was $34.00 plus tax. I'll let you know how they work out.
As a side note: my salesman told me about another customer who bought a Lightning from him. It seems his dad liked the son's truck so much he had to have one himself. Dad promptly traded in his late model Corvette to get the Lightning. Way to go Dad! and congratulations on a two Lightning family. What's mom drive?

P.S. My philosophy is it's not a good day unless you see 100+ and I've had a lot more good days than bad since getting my Lightning.

I've got the same lock kit - made by McGard for Ford. The locks fit fine. Wish they were chrome, but I rest easier. Cheap insurance @ $34.

You wouldn't by change have a part # for them.

1999 Black Lightning SVT all options, (Factory soft tonneau cover, 6 Disc CD, Class III towing hitch), Loyd one piece floormat (Fits well, looks good), Tail light covers (Killer painted black to match), Black spray in bed liner (looks very good), Windows tinted gray 15% on doors, Dark Limo on back glass, Ordered 1st truck 1/21/99 till salesman told me a $5000 premium would be added, On the same day ordered second truck 2/24/99 (BEFORE getting my check back), Took delivery 6/21/99 After MANY many MANY promised ETA dates, Build date of 5/20/99

yes i would....... 71663F, 12mm x 1.75, Acorn. These are from Gorilla, and there are 20 of them. wouldn't want to loose a wheel or ruin one because there was only one lug not left on.
