Hey everyone, My truck is having some weird problems. When I first start the truck the Overdrive light is on. I drove with the light on and the truck went into overdrive with the light still saying it is off. This just strated recently. My truck has almost 58,000 miles on it. I have to hit the button a few times before the light will stay off. I am not sure what is going on. Maybe a bad sensor or is the trans going bye bye. It does not drive any different.

Now today for the first time It did something different. The light was on and as I went from park to drive the light went off in netural and then back on in drive.

Anyhelp would be great.

Jay, I am as clueless as you are bro. You know Sal would run a scan test for ya. Give em a ring first. When I get problems, I never worry. I just let him deal with it. He`s good like that.

 

Jim I here yah I will but right now I am tring to my mustang figured out and the new motor orted out. Right now there are no drivablity problems. It shift fine and drives normal. It is just the fact the it say that the overdrive is off and it still goes into overdrive. Probally a stupid sensors
