Question are lowering kits worth it?

i been searching on here for hours, trying to find what lowering kit i wanna get. it seems like alot of people have problems with alignment and trucks sitting uneven or not liking the lowered hight or the ride is too stiff for daily driving... except for the guys with roush kits, but thats outa the question as there are no more. im not looking to spend a ton of cash, the FRPP 1/3 lowering kit sounds good for a very reasonable price but some people seem unhappy with it. my goal in lowering my truck isnt to slam it, i still want a nice ride cause its my daily driver. so basically is it worth the trouble? or should i get a bassani x pipe and magnaflow high flow cats??? thanks guys

If you do go with Bassani then you are gonna get the best sound out there (in my opinion) especially when you put high flows in the mix.

Give us a call.704-521-4923

Either get the FRPP/Ground Force kit (most have been happy with it) or just cut your coils and add some shackles. Any lowering spring with a higher rate will roughen up the ride in direct proportion to the increase in spring rate.

If you go with the FRPP kit do you really think you should get the 1/3? If you have a 2000 would the 3 inches in the back be too much compared to only the 1 inch in the front? Remember the 03/04 had the highest rear end with the 99/00 having the lowest. I bought the FRPP but havent had time to install it yet

i slep on it last night and i think for the money i would be happy with the FRPP kit. and since the 99/00 are already the lowesnt in the rear the 3" in the rear should satisfy my want to level the truck out.

Andy, i found the bassani X pipe and the Mangna flow cats on your web sight, so when i get them im comin to you. ill probly end up ordering on line since im in the middle of the Indian Ocean right now, but i want have it all waitin for me when i finally get home!!
