I was wondering what exhaust upgrades give the most bang for your buck. I was thinking about a Bassani BX series catback for my 01' Lightning. Are the mid-pipes worth the extra money if the rest of my truck is stock?

 

mid-pipes would be the only thing that would gve much of an upgrade power wise. on a mostly stock/mildly modded truck, exhaust adds little to nothing. cat-backs are only good for sound.

 

I am pulling a bx cat back off my truck in about a week if your looking to buy one. i can send you pics if your interested.

 

removed miffler is cheapest. I like mine that way. The 4 cats keep things mellow under 3k rpms. idle is like stock. wot is very loud though.

 

Any sound clips halcyon? did you use an xpipe to replace muffler?
