to cat or not to cat

i was thinking of going to the bassani no cat mid pipes then later the cat back bx serie(wanted to terrorize the neighborhood) is it really that loud and what hp can i expect? ive read several times the 4 cats are the bottelneck,can i hook up to current factory exhaust, any kind of special sensors i need? thanx

I would put 2 high flow cats up front and delete the rear ones.I read somewhere that you will lose a torque if you dont have any.

I have heard the same, but I have never seen any dyno results to back this up. So I would like to know as well.

I don't have cats on right now, but they are right you loose a little low end torque. It doesn't slow you down at the track, but you can feel it on the street. Also it is way loud on the street.

I am putting cats back on.

dont make much sense to go without 2 anyway thanx ,besides they are only 100 more Don when you said your going back that setteled it for me

I burnt mine out running race fuel, so I cut them out and welded straight pipes in there place.

They lasted two years, so now even if I have to replace them every two years it is worth it.
