Ok I've got it down to two choices...

I want to get a new catback setup and catted mid pipes:

For catback I have it narrowed down to JDM SB or Magnaflow.

Currently, I have the following Magnaflow muffler welded into my stock pipes: 14468

Will the full Magnaflow catback be louder than this muffler? The setup I have now is just too quiet and I want mean/loud. Which is louder (JDM or Magnaflow) and which is a better $$

Is the dual magnalfow setup louder than the single setup?
If I understand correctly, JDM is dual and Magnaflow is single.

Which Cats should I go with? I'm keeping the stock manifolds, can I cut the stock cats out and weld some new ones onto the stock pipes? If so what cats should I get? I have a local shop that does great work if I just supply them the right parts.

Otherwise, what is the best midpipe w/ cats?

Thanks,
Jim

I apologize if you are sick of seeing these types of posts...I just want to make sure I get the loudest setup I can afford and I want it to sound mean as heck!

She's trying to tell you that if you want loud, the silver bullet is the choice to make.

If you want loud/mean, just get the SB... don't waste your money like I did. Don't get me wrong, the Magnaflow sounds nice but it's too quiet IMO.

Has anyone just cut the old cats out and has some new ones installed with bent pipe? That's my plan @ least. To get the JDM $88 cats and weld them in place of the stock pipes.

The Silver Bullet is 2 Magna Packs.

I have the SB with now hollow High Flow Cats and Kooks LT headers.
It is loud and mean sounding.

Go with the Magna Packs you won't be disappointed.

Ok thanks...I think I'm going to order tomorrow. JDM sells the cats for their system and I was thinking of having a shop cut off my existing cats and welding the high-flows in place. Did you get new midpipes with cats or did you cut out the old and weld in new?
