you can add tubing to your intake.. stock or otherwise. Get a fresh/ram effect. Cheap and easy.... You could do the grille mod if you have 01+ grilles. Paint your break calipers. Little easy stuff like that... Acetone your badges. Thats about all i can think of off the top of my head

Intake Tubing

I like the tubing ideas, I did it on my 5.0 and it made a huge difference. Just look around at Hardware stores, just make the tubing smooth and no harsh or abrupt bends. Superchargers LOVE fresh-cold air, and lots of it.

here's another cool idea...

a friend of mine did this on his turbo'd car, he took the washer bottle, and ran the squirters into the front of the intercooler, and put ice in the reservoir with water. now you'll have to run a seperate swich unless yo uwant your wipers to go on with the existing switch. he said it worked good. I've never tried it myself. Maybe put some fans in fron of your intercooler, but I would do one or the other, you don't want the water shorting out your fans.

Radiator Fans

Get rid of the fan and clutch, and retrofit a couple of electric ones, or buy them made to fit. Been told it's a BIG difference. I can feel the engine bog down when the fan clutch kicks in on my L.

acutally, you could do something similar. get a small cooler and 25' of copper hose. drill 2 hole through the cooler and put the coli of tubing inside it with each end running out through the holes. the hook this up in line with the line going to the intercooler in the block. mount the cooler in the bed. fill it with ice right before you run. it wount last long though, 1 maybe 2 runs. it works the best in the heat. on a cool winter night, i doubt there would be any real gains. do a search on here for "powercooler" for more details.

i am making a box out of fiberglass to mount under the hood to do the same thing. total cost so far: $50

do this also, then run some 4" dryer hose to it and the other end to a scoop either behind the grille or under the front bumper:

acetone takes the black off of your badges... it'll also take your paint off your exterior if you are not careful!!

i am not a fan of acetoned badges, it looks like they are old and the paint wore off.

now if you were to acetone them, and then repaint them to match the color of your truck (obviously if you truck isn't black) that would be sweet

Sometimes that's your only recourse if you don't obey 'Wet Paint' signs.
