Hey guys, list your mods here if you've passed California Smog, tryin to figure out what I can get away with. Camshafts are a big issue, anyone know of some that will for sure pass?? Thanks! Brandon

 

I think it will depend on who/where you get your smog done. As an example I had to get my '01 smogged right after I bought it last FEB (50K miles) and was turned away simply because I had an oil separator

A few inches away from it was a 12-in open air filter: did not hear any thing about it. Also had full exhaust (headers, etc.)

So with the tech right in front of me: removed the oil sep and swapped the factory tube in. Passed it first time

 

i have a couple of crower custom cam profiles that work real well & they are smog legal. DANTE

 

REALLY... got any part #'s, and what kind of horsepower, boost & E-T's are ya runnin with them? Thanks!
