Intercooler replacement pump

This thing ROCKS ... It blows the stocker away.

have you tested IAT temperatures since installing the new pump?

The water could be moving too fast for effecient heat transfer.

That is a big concern David ... The only reason I used this one
is it might work better on-track, and I wasn't gonna pay FORD $362
for that stock POS ...

When I get my Xcal, I will test it

Does anyone know what the OEM pump flows? Most of these marine pumps flow 3 gpm. Some are designed for continuous duty and some are not. The good thing about the Jabsco pump is that it's rebuildable but I'd check the compatibility of the impeller with the coolant.

Don't let the coolant get too foamy, it won't transfer heat as well if it's foamy. You could try stepping down the JABSCO pump with a dropping resistor like the one used for the L fuel pump.

yeah

i'd wanna know that the gmp or lpm difference its first.

If it's flowing too fast then you wont get any good heat transfer and can actually make temps go up.

Most of you know this already however.

I see pumps on ebay for 100 or less all the time.
