Underside of Hood

Does anyone make a custom underside hood cover/pad? The underside of the alum. hood is not the most attractive thing for "shows". I was wondering if any one makes something that attaches like an insulation pad found on many vehicles. There are enough pre-drilled "holes" there to mount something I would think.

A while back, I remember seeing a type of insulation with a reflective, silver coating on it...it came in a sheet with a sticky backing, and was meant to be cut and inserted into the cutouts - made a reflective mirror after it was installed. It looked pretty cool as it reflected the engine components, and DEFINATELY gave a more showy look. Haven't seen the stuff since, though. Anybody seen this stuff/know where to get some?

the reason the Lightnings and 02-03 HD's didnt come with any insulation on the bottom of the hood is ford apparently found issues with the throttle spring or lever catching the insulation at WOT. i'd definately highly recommend against installing the insulation knowing that!

if you do shows, save up and get an aftermarket hood. bottom of those are nice and smoooooth
or just prop the hood 1/2 way open. nobody is gonna squat down to see underneath the bottom of the hood, and can still see all the engine bling, but hides the dirt a little better since the sun wont be shining right on everything
