No he didn't.

He told us they support a .600 lift and have been ported. What about the flow numbers, at what lift? What about all the other head info, vavles, valve seat pressure, valve seals, guides....I find it HILARIOUS that ANYONE would buy his heads not knowing the specs.

From what I can see they are just the patriot heads with inserts in them. You buy from him then, it's your money.

No need to get so emotional guys. He has a right to guard his secrets and you have a right to buy from another vendor. It really is that simple. Seems a little ironic though after Johnny's lecture to a former customer of his about sharing information with this forum.

Ask the same question to JDM and see if you get a straight answer!

I've been told by Patriot that they supply heads to all the big L resellers.
Course, they don't want to tell you that. Do some research and come up with your own conclusion.

Exactly, Mark. so what if JL doesn't want to give all his secrets out on the message forums. I'm sure no other tuner would. if you guys don't like it--meeeeh, go somewhere else for your heads!

-Mike

P.S. Waveblaster: are you actually considering buying JL heads? I don't see why you continue to ask questions and ruffle feathers if you're not at the least bit interested in purchasing these heads.

I can say based on a previous thread that REM had their ported heads flow checked and posted the results.Flow #'s are the best way to compare heads based on your particular application(power level). You dont have to give up secrets to post flow #'s.Its just a matter of paying to have them flow checked on a bench....fwiw
