Thumbs up Bling Bling - Thanks Svtoa !!!

Well, I don't know if y'all remember, but I won $900.00 in the raffle
at autobahn in Illinois for Ford Racing Performance Parts. Since I
couldn't afford the crate motor ( grin ) I thought I would update the
Lightning with the '03 wheels.

Thanks SVTOA and all my buddies !!!

I love those wheels. I have been thinking of putting a set on myself and after seeing them on your rig I'm gonna do it. They look real nice on your L.

Unhappy Chrome Accidents?

Your new wheels look great -- congratulations!

I have a question, however. I have a '99 L, which I purchased new. A few years ago, I bought a new set of tires (never used) off a new '02 L, complete with the OEM wheels attached ($1,000 for everything, including shipping and balancing - I sold my old '99's for $400, so my net cost for tires & wheels was just $600.). A couple of months ago, I got too close to a curb and scuffed up the edge of one rim.

Now, that's bad enough but what would have happened if they had been chrome? I've never owned a set of chrome rims so I don't know what happens when the inevetable happens. Love the look but how do they handle "accidents"?

Mike

Looks good cliff

I have been watching the prices on the 03 -04 chromes -- They have dropped a little since Jan but they are still 330 a wheel I think....

Im gonna get them eventually, I really liked the chrome look on my 2000, but Im waiting for the price to come down

Question:

Do they make them in 20's like the 01/02 rims?

And they DO fit over the Brembos ... by 1/4 in.

Doug, I had to get them from FRPP, and that prolly cost me something.
