Painted SC black, now i want to change the color

Painted SC black, now i want to change the color

want to paint it that blue metallic duplicolor. Do i have to strip the black paint off first? If so what do i use?

aircraft remover will work real good, you can get a can at walmart or advanced auto...just brush it on and wipe the paint off

i would think you could just scuff it up with some fine sandpaper and paint over it. the black basecoat might make the topcoat of the metallic duplicolor subdued. i would strip it off so that the anadized look would really pop. i considered doing the same thing, but i have already polished my case.

Remove the paint you already have on it, The less insulation on the Heaton the better.
Why remove the black?, it looks factory.
