Colder Plugs
Colder Plugs
How crucial is it to change out the stock plugs in the L when your mods will include
CAI
Xcal GenII
Ported Plenum
1 piece throttle body
6 lb pulley
Basanni exhaust
I've heard it's a real pain to do the plugs but if it means toasting my stock plugs then getting new plugs like NGK TR6 spark plugs will be necessary
Are there any precautions against stripping the plugs and do they come lose?
Help is much appreciated.

torque: 18 ft-lbs. Check periodically since '02 and earlier have fewer threads (four vs. '03 up=8)
since your truck will no longer be stock after your mods, best to macth it with the correct plugs
