My second gen2 is gone....

Well I have decided to take a break from the "car" thing for awhile, I have been doing it for ten years and I am just plain burnt out on it. I traded the L in on a 2005 Nissan Titan SE King Cab this evening. They had a killer rebate for it and the deal was just to hard to pass up. Walked out of there with a 28+K truck for 22.8k out the door. My L was unaffected by the 500+ 600+ to the wheels on the stock bottom end. I drove it for a few weeks after I returned it to stock to make sure everything was good and all seemed just perfect. I hope she goes to a good home.

This board has been a great resopurce for me with both my L's, I appreciate all the help along the way.

Bye for know,
Bob

I would like to be the first to wish you luck with the new truck. My friend has one and he loves it, while it might not be quite as fast as the L, its still enjoyable. Hopefully you will be back in the future.

Until then,
Good luck

Good luck, I thought that you had one of the nicests L's out there. BTW your car like L is more of a truck than the Nissan.

There was a recent article about Ford's F series market share and the effect that the "new" eg non domestic trucks would have on Ford's share. I can't remember the exact quote but it was something like "We (ford) sold more trucks on the last day of last month than Nissan sold all last quarter."

Good luck with the new truck. They are nice but......

Take her easy Bob, I know you will.

We never talked but I've read a lot of your post back in the day, its always a shame to see one of the originals leave.

The Titan seems to be a very nice truck. I wouldve done the same.

Good Luck. I'll miss your posts on the crazy numbers you made on that stock long block.

What's the aftermarket like for the Titan? Does anyone make a blower kit for it yet? I wonder what type of numbers it put down?

It's getting much larger. Stillen finally has a blower available for it but the price is steep. You can find the graphs and numbers at Stillen's website.
