I couldnt agree more... It definately firmed up the shift, but at WOT you REALLY feel it! No more hesitation between gear changes, either. Definately one of the best "bang for the buck" mods I've done.

It will prolong the transmission's life. No more sloppy clutch slippage during the shift means more direct power and less heat in the tranny.

It's just my opinion, but, Ford could have built the stock valve body to shift the same as an FTVB but new owners would have thought that something was wrong with the transmission because of the firm shift. It's not your dad's Oldsmobile anymore, there is big time fun involved now, thanks to Gregg's research and development.

I have tried every version of FTVB's during the last two years and this is the BEST ONE EVER. There is No room for improvement if you ask me, this is it!!

Does that $25 off also apply to the FTVB/4X4 pan combo ?

i 2nd Tim's response to this question. Gregg sent me one to try out while pulling a horse trailer. i didn't want to put the horse on the floor with a crazy wild shift and i'm happy to report it does a superb job. i've got several thousand miles of towing under my FTVB and it is sweet
