*RACE TESTED* No2 Test Results!
The Wizard of NOS kit is definitely the best kit on the market.
I first tested the kit in my 03 Cobra. I was trapping 112 mph with just the average bolt ons. I installed the Wizard of NOS setup from Race Tested with a 70 shot and managed 126mph in the 1320.
After that, I installed a kit on my 2004 F250 and with a dry 70 shot, dropped from a 13.9@97 to a 13.5@99. We're now able to crack 12 second ET's w/ only a programmer, exhaust and a 70 shot in a full size diesel...craziness.
My last testimony was on my personal daily driver. I was running 14.2 in a bone stock 1992 LX 5.0 coupe. I installed the Race Tested kit w/ a 120 shot and busted a 12.3@110. After about 20+ bottles the car is still kicking w/ over 100k miles and a Vortech S trim bolted to it.
Not to steal your thunder Johnny, just another satisified customer!
Good luck on your quest for mid 9's! I see low 9's this fall...maybe an 8 if you step up to a progress 250 shot.

I would like to Thank Denny and RACE TESTED for Trusting JLP To give thier product a FAIR and HONEST Test!.. Inwhich we are Thankful for..We were unable at this time to test the kit on our Dyno..However we did have enough time to install the kit and get to the track this past saturday! Thats the True Test IMHO! On the Old 1320!
(We all seen Huge Dyno #'s in the past wich didn't match up on the track
) Well here we go ,The temps were Horrible over 100* on the track with 90+% Humidity! Like a Steam Room!.So the conditions were not the greatest to say the least..we have been running high 9's @ 140+ with the SAME Setup on the truck with the exception of aZEX Kit with a 150 shot!... We had a 150 shot setup in the Race tested Kit. We set the start setup @ 25% around a 38 shot!(Baby shot!)..@ .9 sec delay, after that we had the unit kick in 80% roughly 120 shot..This unit is Simply Awsome we can not only setup the amount of NO2 we want, but when we want it!..The Unit worked Flawless! The truck went 9.84 @ 140.8 with a 1.48 60 ft!.. Considering how Easy we were on the settings and the delays we set up. This System Simply Out performed the Zex kit hands down by far!..We'll be going back to the track next week, we'll turn the delays off and shoot a FULL 150 shot 100% All the way!..Time wouldn't permit us to do more testing saturday..So we'll do more next weekend @ The NMRA Race in KS. No doubt if this kit already performed the same results as the other. with a delay and starting off with a 38 shot then comming on to Only a 120 shot!..I feel with out a doubt when we turn it up to a true 150 shot with No delays if the truck hooks we'll see atleast .3-.4 tenths off our previous best!(9.7)
This should put us around 9.3-9.4..We @ JLP Give this Set-up RACE TESTED a Huge
And Would Highly Reccomend This set-upTo Those who want the Most out of NO2! Its simply Amazing!..We'll keep everyone posted on some later testing and i'm sure NewRECORD Times!....JL

Glad another tuner likes the kit. It's always a good feeling when people who argue about so much actually agree on something.
PS, stop being a sissy and hit that freaking truck with more than a baby 150 shot.
How will this kit affect a totally stock block/tranny longevity, no mods whatsoever?
What about on a stock block with ported eaton, 4/6# pulley, intake and tuned with a Predator?
Will i need separate tuning for this kit?
Sorry for the newb question but ive been following this thread closely.
My last experience with Nitrous was with my 89 Iroc and it was a dry 75 shot.
The engine held out but the tranny had to be rebuilt twice.

I was thinking that too.
But I would imagine the pulsing is so fast that the motor doesn't even recognize the pulsing.

Eric,
Good to see you are having great success on multiple vehicles. I could have used you on other Lightning forums when people were criticizing us because they never heard of our kit on any vehicle yet alone doing great things.

Example: A fixed hit 100 shot may be to hard on a transmission, can break tires loose, shockload the motor, etc. but a 100 shot started off at let's say 25hp with a progressive and build up to a 100 shot higher into the rpms band and when the car is moving will be much easier on all compenets than a fixed blast of 100shot. This is just an example as it all depends on your set-up. Think of a progressive set-up as an electronically controlled multi stage system. People use a small shot off the line and then come on with a bigger shot later on. The big differences with a progressive is you still aren't hitting the motor and trans with that big second stage at one time and you are much more efficient with the power delivery when it's electronically and progressively controlled.
Yes I agree that a progressive build up of the power would be better on the "moving parts", but what I am read from how it's explained is that it's like you are "flicking' the switch on and off of say a 100 shot. So the engine sees no telling how many hits of that 100 shot off and on during that run. See what I'm talking about?
Mine is built to take it now; atleast I would hope some billet rods and the works would be up to the task. And the fact I had the tolerences setup for boost and juice. Just have to figure out what kit and how much.
Hi Trev,
Thanks for stopping by, AND WELCOME
I thought my statement just about covered it
BTW for those who asked,
THE MAIN THING about a RT Sytem is the smooth delievery
You can set that sucker to pulse at 10% and you WILL NOT feel a thing,
Just a smoooooooooooooooth even flow of N20 and Power

Casey,
Waveblaster is correct to a great extent but for the full explanation of what the engine "sees" please read my first post (bottom of page 1).
Pulsing a system is far batter than fixed kits but we have a new system that we're working on that delivers progressive power without pulsing the Pulsoids which is even better. Don't get too excited yet though as we have a thick order book of people waiting for these for high end Drag racing and we haven't even finished the prototype work yet, so it'll be a year or so before we will be able to offer these to new customers. The good news is that if you buy our current system, you jump up the list and we'll our current products back as trade ins against the new system, for anyone who wants the upgrade when they become available.
Tman,
You should be pleased to learn that my systems were developed on stock engines, which is why they deliver the power so smoothly (as the sudden shock from other kits can kill stock engines quickly) and why you should be fine fitting one of our systems to your engine.
I've done many stock engines and one that may be a good example for you was my own Buick 213 ci to which I added 300 hp (2 stages of 150 hp many years ago before I invented progressive control).
Good wishes to all.

It is about time we got a real test of this system
I was sure there was poential in this system, but remember our truck are a lot different than N/A vehicals, and the tune is of utmost importance.
Johnny did you run the same or allmost the same tune with the RaceTested system, as you ran with you old nitrous setup??
If not what is the difference in tuning needed for the new system???????
