i had vinyl stripes on a car for several years. they will eventually look like hell if they see too much weather. i think stripes look best when they get a little wider as they get closer to the windshield. also, i do not like them coming down the front bumper if you're running a front plate. stop them just below the grill

There is a red L in Edmonton that has the white stripes and the GT stripes at the bottom of the door. Looked real sharp. I don't have any pics though.

if you are going to do stripes make sure you search for fletches instructions... they are the same width the whole way and he has the perfect measurements...

stripes... myself, i will be doing one stripe... over the grilles and all. i allready repainted the whole truck from black to white with blue pearl in the clear coat, so my truck is flashy as it is... but a blue strip will set it off nice i think with the pearl on it

I'm tryin to also figure out the side stripes perhaps two going from the fender
on the same level as below the first crease in the door back to where the bed starts.

I've seen vinyl look very nice and I've seen paint be a bit sloppy ..paint smears etc. In a perfect worl a $5,000 flame paint job would be nice too :^).

I like the stripes.

I found out that the stripes are 12 inches wide NOT 15 15 was really wide and hard to find.
