I got ask you Harley, whats the deal with the ext cab? I thought they only made them in four door versions?

Not like it makes a difference cause its a heck of a nice looking truck, but I was just wondering.

before 01 (supercrew style available) they were offered in ext cab. They were also not supercharged even some early 01 Supercrews were not blown.

 

It's not... There were lightnings at the meet, but we were outnumbered. I didn't know there were any other forums on this board.

 

ALL 00 HD's (the first year for the harley trucks) were extended cab flareside beds ONLY. and they are still 4 doors, just the front doors are bigger than the crew cab doors and the rear doors shorter and open suicide. lol...foot shorter cab and foot longer bed than the supercrew

heck, supercrews werent even out until 2001. so an extended cab was the biggest you could get in 2000. personally i like it alot better than the supercrews...more styling with the flareside bed. i'm not a big fan of the huge cab and tiny bed. still like them, but not as much as the ex. cab flareside

also NONE of the 01 HD's were blown. it wasnt only early 01's that were NA....ALL of the 01's were. 2002 was the first year for the supercharged HD's, and it wasnt an option..ALL 00-01 HD's were non-s/c...ALL 02-03 HD's were s/c

and ALL 00 HD's were extended cab flareside, and ALL 01-03 HD's were crew cab


and yep, this was one of those super rare meets where the harleys actually outnumbered the lightnings i'm so used to being the only HD at all the events, it was odd to see just 4 L's and 5 other HD's besides mine. haha

 

You guys won't be so lucky next time though, I'm sure more Ls will show up! Keep me updated though if there's any meets coming up since I'll be isolated for the next 5 weeks between work and school.

and yep had to enjoy it while it lasted with outnumbering you guys FFW VA kinda killed it for the L's showing up at the meet...plus the whopping one week notice

dunno if anythings up for July right now besides the rally on the 16th...but will keep ya informed, with hopefully more than a weeks notice too. haha
