Probably should have cleaned the engine a little before the install.

the cowl has not been touched. the firewall has not been touched either.

plug changes will not take any more time if not less. you have the intake boot, 5 ac hoses, throttle body linkage, egr tube nut, and 4 10mm bolts that hold the compressor to the midplate then the whole unit comes off. about 10 mins of work and a ****load more room.

well i awoke today on my day off with an e-mail from sal with my tune. i quickly loaded it up and went on a test drive. HOLY *****. i am running a 10 inch lower and 3.5 upper and see 15lbs of boost instantly. i was doing 45 and nailed it and broke the tires loose and went sideways. All this with the AC on full and it's 110 out today on 91 octane. this unit is an absolute monster. i am overly happy with it. it also has a completely different whine to it. it sounds more mellow like a jet engine going to full power during takeoff. same thing at idle. I give 2 big thumbs up to whipple and sal for an awesome tune. I have a 3.25 upper sitting in the glovebox that i will throw on soon to see how that does.

Prices for the unit are:

3295 for a black krinkle finished one
3895 for a polished one

the kits include EVERYTHING. midplate, gaskets, compressor, intake, cold air kit, all new bolts, new vac hoses etc. The kit also comes with a 3.25 upper stock.
