You want more power, but it has to stay quiet? You can do a lower pully 4 or 6 #. A cold air induction. A predator tunner and tune from Sal at Power Surge Performance. A factory tech valve body to make your tranny last longer and shift better. I have a 4#er and the FTVB for sale. Hope this helps you... Where are you from?

1. Factory Tech Valve body (shift kit for transmission)
2. Cold Air Intake (JLP, JDP or PSP can sell you one)
3. Send the blower out to get ported (Apten will do it)
4. add a 4# lower pulley to increase boost
5. Get a SCT handheld tuner (incase you change something in the future the tuner can E-mail you a new tune)
6. Get a dyno tune

That should put you over 400 horsepower at the rear wheels and over 500 ft/lbs of torque and allow you to get into the 12's in the quarter mile.

The factory tech valve body is a upgraded unit for the transmission. It increases the firmness of the shifts, thus extending the life of the transmission.

some info here
FTVB Info @ Chickenears

With the right tools you can install a lower pulley by yourself.
If you add any performance modifications to the lightning it is best to have a custom tuned chip or programmer added. there are a few different ones on the market.

If a stock L will pass the testing. Ship that over and then install parts later. Thats the way kalifornians do it.

you may want to look here:

http://www.nloc.net/forum/forumdispl...s=&forumid=477

Those are the local Lightning Clubs around the USA.

WHen you add the pulley (which you can do by yourself) you will need a custom tune. The handheld tuner's are nice. You plug it into your computer port on the truck and download the stock program, then upload the New tune to your truck. Plus whoever you choose to tune it (PSP, JDM, JLP) can E-mail you updates as you add more modifications.

If you purchase a chip to hold your tune. you have to take it out and mail it to them, From Taiwan it could take weeks.

i can use the 2003 Cobra DiabloSport Predator Tuning Device to regulate chip system ?

and could u guys tell me uper pulley and lower pulley have any different ?

if i am with right tools i can install by myself . could anyone tell me where i can find the information about install step ? also . if i can't install by myself .could i ask mechanic to help me install it ? bacuse i don't think i can find any shop selling L stuff in Oregon Ashland

i am really no idea about my L . but i like my L very much .

dont do a chip, being in TW it would take weeks to have someone reburn it for more mods that you might make
if you get a handheld flasher like the Preditor or the SCT Xcal2 your tuner (guy who writes the program so your truck runs right) can e-mail you an updated program if you add new stuff
if you are ok with tools you can do just about all of the stuff you have listed
the only thing that is "hard" to do is the valve body/ shift kit
because it gets a little messy

Hell it takes weeks if you live in the US. To Tawain it could take years. Definately go with a handheld.
