transmission problem

Well this is a problem I havnt heard of before, the last couple of times I had the truck out,I noticed at about half throtle the one two shift was abnormally hard and I was hearing a strange noise as if something was loose in the rear of the truck.I put it in the air and found nothing wrong and the trans fluid looked and smelled good so I took it back out for a ride, this time at wot I had no one two shift at all, and the truck hit the fuel shut off and it made a noise that sounded as if the trans was now laying on the ground in pieces,I figured the trans was junk at only 7k.I was only about a mile from home so I drove it back pulled the pan and found a bolt laying in there,it appears that when I put my ftvb in I neglected to tighten just that one bolt as all the others were tight. So after a new filter and gasket (and replacing the bolt of course) I took it out and it seems fine now.So to any of you tranny guys, does this sound like a problem that would occur from a bolt missing or might I have another problem on the horizon? thanks

Nope...mine has been on for almost 2 years and no problems. I do get an ABNORMALY hard shift from 1st to 2nd though. But chalk that up the FTVB (r) model I have installed.
