Am I getting scammed?

I have the truck for sale in the auto trader and I get this email from an "Allison Creek" offering me almost what I am asking for the truck - sight unseen.
I have responded twice and they seem very interested, but it almost seems too good to be true.
Just checking to see if anyone has heard the name before....it almost sounds like they are overseas.......
Just want to keep on top of this in the event it is a scam.....if not, consider it sold........"sniff....sniff"

Do not except a cashier's check in the mail unless you check it out and make sure it clears first. There have been some bogus cashiers checks scamming going on.

Like was stated if it sounds to good to be true it is!

Peace,
Suavy

I sold 6 motorcycles and five cars on ebay with excellent results, and they were all sold sight unseen.

I got two more going on this week.

I'm not doubting that these people would buy the truck without seeing it, I just want to be careful. I'm even sending pictures...a lot of them.
As Sauvy said.....get the cashiers check and make sure it's good.
I'll let you know what happens

I put a car on Ebay, didn't sell. Then a week pater this guy said he wanted it.

long story short, He wired a substantial down payment to my account, and paid for my hotel. I drove it to him in Tennessee and took a rental home.

The biggest "red-light" for me is when they offer to pay in some other countries "bankers draft" or money order or whatever.........

just tell them you will only accept a wire transfer. if they have a bank account then there should be no problem with that. there may be a small fee, but for that large of a transaction, it is worth the peace of mind.

Unfortunately, I have to sell my baby due to the new house I am building. I REEEAALLY don't want to, but sometimes you gotta make hard choices......also, the new house is A LOT longer of a drive from work. So I need to find something better on gas.

Didn't Bob Lutz say last year that Americans are totally oblivious to higher fuel prices...
