Where do I get a monsterbox?

I did a search and found nothing that helped me. My tranny just took a $@#! and I need a new one. But, I can't seem to find this tranny that everyone calls the "monsterbox". Is it the one that JLP builds for 1,900 bucks? If not where can I find one and how much are they? Also if it has a stall... every time you stop do you have to launch at that stall? Or is it button engaged or something like that? Sorry don't know very much about this.

Search under transmission in the classifieds. There is a brand new built JLP tranny in there for a good deal.

Thanks I just e-mailed the guy selling it. I don't know much about this forum and didn't even know that was there. So thanks again. You might have just found my tranny for me.

Are you anywhere near the Vegas area>??? If so go check out Lenny at Performance Transmission. He does wonderful things and is a great guy.
Otherwise you can go to any Jasper dealer and purchase a monster box. -Mat-

I'm about a 7 hour drive from Vegas. So i'm not sure if the trip would be worth it with gas overnight and all... What's a Jasper dealer?

Andy@Chickenears.com

I have had some recent issues and Andy has helped me above and beyond and I have never spent a red cent with them. But I will be soon!

Peace,

I have been running mine for about 3 years now with no issues. I have the Monster box and the 2600 Billet Stall converter.

The converter is computer enhanced so you hardly know it's there. You can feel it during launch's though. What I like about my set up is I can be messing around on the hwy and hit it at 70 mp or so and break the tiers loose. You should see the look on them there Dodge boy's face's.
I don't know why but almost everyone of them I run across wants to run me.

Peace,

Suavy

WOW!!!!!!! I'm sold. Now is that an upgrade for the computer enhanced converter or does that come in all monsterboxs? Are there any other upgrades you can get for the MB? Sorry I'm asking so much but I can't get ahold of anyone till 2maro since it's so late and I'm so antsy to get a new tranny.

The stall does not come with the tranny you can buy that also from Andy.
I was having some issues with it when I first got it but had my tunner check my tune. They made a change and problem solved. I love it cuz I like to go to the late night racers hang outs and I can be just cruzing and kick it down and it sounds like I pushed the clutch in and wil let it rev a little but not move. Don't get me wrong all you got to do is stomp on it and hold on!

Peace,

Suavy

That's true the Dodge Boy's don't seem to care. I get most vets and stuff that won't even look over at a light.

Hey call me Mark Im at work.
