4 years long enough time to move on!!

Just wanted to say thanks to Jim and Sean and the rest of the crew @ JDM for all their help for the last 4 years. A little over 4 years ago I purchsed a new Lightning pick up truck. I went on the internet and discovered a whole new world. It started innocently enough with a chip and air filter and a pulley and electric fan and you all know the end of this story. Well many $$$$$$$'s and and some frustration and I reached my goal of having a 10 second daily driver in this hot a$$ climate we have here in florida. I visit these boards occasionally and once in a while post something or express my opinion. I have been to the florida ffw's for the last three years and have met some really nice people and a few not so nice. I decided it was time to move on and start another adventure as I am 59 years old and you never know how many adventures you have time left for. I think I found a good home for the L with a young gentleman from the west coast. I hope it puts as big of a smile on his face as it did mine everytime I drove it. I want to thank everyone on this board for the information that they unselfishly shared with everyone. I'll stop by every once in a while just to keep up with what is going on. See the links for my last look at the L and my next adventure.

Good luck. I know there are few X-lightning owners that post about there new rides. I can't remember names, but ne had an Audi, and another a CTS. Please keep us updated on the new car that thing looks beautiful. Nice choice on the wheels and color. Be nice to see that car doing 10's.

Wow thats a great looking new ride you got there. It's always been a pleasure seeing and talking to you at the track. I hope you still make the local events.

Stay in touch,

That Mustang is beautiful!!! What wheels and tires are those???? Every time I see one of those on the street I say that they're just a nice set of wide wheels and tires away from being really nice looking. Good luck!!

Mike, your truck is going to my good friend Jeff. This will be the second Lightning he has owned. Rest assured there could be no better owner. He takes very good care of his vehicles. Gawd forbid you should ever lean on one of them. He has his own shop with dyno, and is a respected local tuner. I cannot think of a better home for your truck.
