Hello,
Maybe someone here has had the same problems. My daughter has a 2001 lightning and when your giving it gas its sounds like you hear the gas running through the line or into fuel injectors. That's the only way I know how to explain it, sorry. Is this normal? Also I have a 2001 and its making a sound sorta like a diesel, I think from the superchargers snout. I'm taking it to a dealer Mon. to let them run a diagnostic check on it. One more question I took mine to see about an exhaust put on and he seemed kinda surprised because it had duel inlet pipes instead of just one to the muffler. He acted like some did and some did not, so I was wondering are some lightning exhaust duel in/duel out and some single in/duel out?

Most dealers will void your warranty for modded Lightnings.

 

If its a ticking sound, it could be coming from the injectors. I just noticed that today and did a search on "injectors ticking" and from what I read it seems to be normal.
