Unhappy Triggered the anti-theft

Well, somehow today I triggered the antitheft. The remote still unlocks the doors, but then the truck locks them again and you can here it constantly clicking the door locks. Key in the ignition does nothing. I did some searching and found the info on locking, unlocking the passenger door a bunch of times, but it didn't work.

Any other suggestions short of towing it to the dealer?

My key reader went out on my truck and the truck would turn over but not start. Had it towed in and the changed it out.

Peace,

Suavy

I seen your post on that in my searching. My truck won't even turn over though - when you turn the key there is nothing.

You sure that it's the anti theft? Could just be the solinoid on the starter? Does the dash gages turn on when you turn the key? If not I would make sure your getting power to it.

Let me know if I can help. I'll be around.

Peace,

Suavy

That turned out to be part of it. It wasn't dead when it started happening though. After I put everything back together and put the battery charger on it fired right off.

The truck has been apart for like 3 weeks, so I'm not surprised the battery was low.
