could possibly be the fuel pump. Thats the same exact thing mine was doing when the hose came off in the tank and the pump went poof.

really? Thats something to think about I suppose. Although the noise sounds like its coming from the engine.

youd be suprised at all the noise the motor makes when its starving for fuel.
Dunno if that is your problem for sure, just some possibilities

wow

that sucks man.

Did you check to see if you have an codes?

Sounds like you could have a major vacuum leak or intake leak.

Either that or something with the timming is off.......like a timming chain tensioner puked and it may have jumped cam timming.

Or maybe you burnt up a valve.

Did it start doing it while you were driving? What were you doing when it happened?

Would putting a fuel pressure guage on it tell you if the lines in the tank came off rather than pulling the tank apart to find out it's fine.??

Good luck. Nothing worse than having problems with you pride and joy.

well got the last plug out finally, it really didnt want to come out. In total there were 3 melted plugs, 2 on the front passenger side, and 1 on the front drivers side. Im most worried about the one on the drivers side as half of it was gone. Pics arent the best but bare with me:
