Tranny

Will uping the shift firmness on the predator hurt the tranny? i uped it i dont feel much of a difference anyway but i was just wondering

from what i have hear over the years it will damage the output shaft or something in that area due to lack of lubrication due to the pump being turned up and not having enougth fluid to make it back there.

Yeah thats what i was thinking....i would think it would be pretty much ok tho its only suppose to work at WOT and im not at WOT but every now and then not much

im not too sure about the output shaft, but one thing is for sure, it will wear out the trans pump faster, not to mention since the VB and the Accumulator is downstream from the pump it does put sideloads on the valves and bores. most would say dont do it, get a built tranny or a accumulator (shift kit)
