JLP tranny

how well do these trannys hold up for every day driving and the friday night beating?

a buddy of mine has one. I'd have to say it holds up VERY well... he's pushing ALOT of HP....


but he hasn't had it on for even a year yet.

My truck is daily driven. About 180-250 miles a week. Built block, KB @ 20 psi of boost, traction bars.... Still is in one piece.

His are Level 10's, correct... I too am interested seeing as mine won't stand up to my race program very long...

Dont be so sure about that... My transmission is still stock with the exception of a valve body and a PI converter and it is still running strong...

Ive got all of the parts to build a Monster Box.... But until I have problems "dont fix it if it aint broken"

I have an FTVB and FT torque converter... I just hope I have good luck...

Both 10 sec trucks we have local are running stock tranny's for quite awhile also. Ramair beats the hell outta his too.
